PROVIDENCE AIPORT

Theodore F. Green Airport in Providence, Rhode Island is one of the smaller metropolitan airports was opened in 1931 as the Rhode Island State Airport, and was renamed for longtime governor and U.S. senator T.F. Green in 1938. The airport is located in Warwick, Rhode Island, 6 miles (10 km) south of Providence; it is 60 to 90 minutes by car to Boston and Worcester in Massachusetts as well as New Haven and New London, Connecticut.
